Bangkok’s public transportation consists of many choices but it is undeniable that the most popular choices are BTS and MRT. These two transits have connected stations where tourists can easily change from one transit to another as follow:
First connected station: BTS Mo Chit – MRT Chatuchak
Located not far from Mo Chit 2 terminal, this is the first connecting point connected BTS light green line to MRT blue line. Nearby tourist attractions are Chatuchak Market and Central Plaza Ladprao.
Second connected station: BTS Ha Yaek Lat Phrao – MRT Phahon Yothin
Located only one station away from the first connected station, this is the second connecting point also connected BTS light green line to MRT blue line. There is an exit connected to a department store. Nearby tourist attractions are Chatuchak Market, Central Plaza Ladprao, and Union Mall.
Third connected station: BTS Asok – MRT Sukhumvit
The third connected station is located in the middle of the city and downtown neighborhood. There are many nearby tourist attractions located not far from the two stations, for example, Terminal 21, Benjakitti Park, Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, and EmQuartier.
Fourth connected station: BTS Sala Daeng – MRT Silom
The fourth connecting point connects from BTS Silom route to MRT blue line. This is another connected station that located in Bangkok’s main business area surrounded by schools, embassies, and community malls. It is also ranked as one of the best residential areas for city people. The stations are located near St. Joseph Convent School, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Silom Complex, Bangkok Bank PCL, Patpong night market, and Wat Hua Lamphong.
