2020-12-30 16:01:55

Bang Sue Grand Station is Thailand’s first and only grand station that is classified as the largest train station in ASEAN. It will be the best railway system in Thailand and is planned to be the centre of Thailand’s transportation system. It is also planned to be a new shopping complex consisting of lifestyle activities, food, shopping centres and a public park. The concept is also known as the Transit Oriented Development that is developed under the Smart City idea. The station will be the centre that connects transportation to many business areas, for example, the Smart Business Complex (the new business centre), the ASEAN Commercial and Business Hub, (a commercial space), a shopping complex, a food centre, offices, hotels and a SMART Healthy and Vibrant Town (a residential area). Bang Sue Grand Station will be the main transportation system connecting the city to the outskirts. There are two routes: the dark red line (Bang Sue – Rangsit) and light red line (Bang Sue - Taling Chan). Bang Sue Grand Station will be the centre of all train links, for example express trains, long-distance trains and an Airport Link that will connect to the MRT.
